Launching a website to back the collective letter calling for a reevaluation of Unity’s new terms
Over the last few days, more than 500 companies and indie developers have signed the collective letter opposing the introduction of the Runtime Fee by Unity game engine.
The number continues to grow, which is why we have come together to launch a dedicated website where everyone can add their signature and openly support the movement.
We’d also like to thank everyone for all the supportive messages we’ve received during this time. Thousands of emails, comments, and messages from the entire industry — game designers, artists, producers, solo developers to anonymous Unity employees — have reached us.
We genuinely believe that game development industry is a place where everyone can not only make their own dreams come true but also fulfill the dreams of millions of players.
