We invested in mobile game studio KobGames Studios
AZUR GAMES and KobGames Studios go way back – we’ve released several games together, we know how deep their love for game development is, and how they approach the process. So, we’re happy to announce that we’ve acquired a share in the company with a full estimate of its value at $3.6 million.
We believe this will help KobGames develop and build internal expertise as our strategy for long-term and successful partnership unfolds. For example, one of the company’s projects – namely, Cookie Carver: Life Challenge – became top 1 on Google Play in the US after the deal was made and still continues to perform well.
In turn, we’ll continue our search for talented developers to help them grow and reach new frontiers of the industry together.
“At AZUR GAMES, we try to do more than just publish games. We strive to actively develop external studios and provide them with tools to make their growth as smooth as can be. Our sights are always set on long-term and productive partnerships. We’re tirelessly looking for promising studios to invest in and provide them with an extra boost, as well as help accumulate developer’s internal expertise,” said Dmitry Yaminsky, co-founder of AZUR GAMES.
